The Development Pathway League

 

The Development Pathway League aims to keep youth players in the game by allowing recreational players to continue to play, enjoy, and learn the fantastic game of soccer.

The DPL's goal is to give players the opportunity to get more touches on the ball in a more developmentally appropriate environment.

2018 DPL Info

U8 Age Group - This year we will be facilitating a U8 (2010) category playing 4 v4 and a U9 category for 2009 players in a 7v7 format on a U10 sized field. Games will be in a jamboree format - (So Recreational players from U7 and U8 players - New or under performing U8 travel teams). Each team will play a minimum of two 20 minute games or three 15 minute games (all in one AM or PM schedule).
 
The DPL U8 4v4 and the U9 7v7 schedules are in a jamboree format. This means teams will play either two of three games at each jamboree location. Here is the schedule. The expected length or each jamboree will be between 2.30 hours and 3 hours. Teams are declared one week before the jamboree and schedules are produced by the Wednesday before the event. Ref fees are paid in cash and are $10 per team paid to the assigned referee (Total referee fees $20) for 4v4. For U9 development the fees are $13 per team (Total referee fees $26). Host for the jamboree assigns the referees. Cost to register a DPL team is $50. 

 
 
 
U10 Age Group - This year we will be facilitating a U10 category playing 7v7 on a U10 sized field - (So Recreational players from U9 and U10 players combined - New or under performing U9 or U10 travel teams).   Games will alternate between full-length games and jamboree-format games depending on the week.
 
The DPL U10 schedule is in a jamboree format. This means teams will play either two of three games at each jamboree location. Here is the schedule. The expected length or each jamboree will be between 3.30 hours and 4 hours. Teams are declared one week before the jamboree and schedules are produced by the Wednesday before the event. Ref fees for  are paid in cash and are $15 per team paid to the assigned referee (Total ref fees $30). Host for the jamboree assigns the referees. 

 
 
U12 Age Group This year we will be facilitating a U12 category playing 9v9 on a U12 sized field - (So Recreational players from U11 and U12 players combined - New or under performing U11 or U12 travel teams).   Each team will play at least one 60 minute game at home and at the away team.
 
Cost per team $50 to register. Referee fees will be $36 center, AR1 $20 and AR2 $20
 
U14 Age Group This year we will be facilitating a U14 category playing 11v11 on a full size field - (So Recreational players from U13 and U14 players combined - New or under performing U13 or U14 travel teams).   Each team will play at least one 70 minute game at home and at the away team.
 
Cost per team $50 to register. Referee fees will be $40 center, AR1 $20 and AR2 $20
 
HS Age Group This year we will be facilitating a U16 category playing 11v11 on a full-sized field - (So Recreational players from U15 and U16 players combined - New or under performing U15 or U16 travel teams).   If a team doesn't have enough for a full 11, the other team must play down, and the teams can go as low as 7v7. Flexibility and cooperation between teams and clubs are necessary.
 
Cost per team $50 to register. Referee fees will be $45 center, AR1 $20 and AR2 $20
